Paving Services

Installing a new driveway, pathway or patio at your property can prove to be quite a challenging task- predominantly because of the vast range of options that are available to you.  There are many benefits to installing a paving system-  it’s cost effective, durable and can be laid in many patterns, colours, and bespoke styles and designs that can complement and add value to your property.

From pattern imprinted concrete and block paving, to cobblestone, asphalt, gravel and tarmacadam- at Traditional Homescaping we can help you achieve the perfect design layout for your home or premises.

Pattern Imprinted Concrete

Pattern Imprinted Concrete

If you are considering a new or refurbished concrete driveway or patio, then pattern imprinted concrete is the ideal solution, and an increasingly affordable option.

With it’s high durability, reinforced fibre mesh structure and low maintenance finish, it will look good for many years to come.  It is extremely versatile, and a wide choice of colours, patterns and styles are available to meet your requirements and complement your home.

Whether you prefer the aesthetic qualities of stone, brick, tile or cobbles, it can be applied to your design for a unique finish.  From a design perspective, it can also follow the layout of your existing outdoor space, to further enhance it.  One of the most impressive features of pattern imprinted concrete is that it is virtually maintenance free. It is extremely difficult for weeds, moss and algae to grow on the printed surface, so a regular wash down with water in addition to an application of a quality sealer is generally all that is required to maintain the quality of the surface for many years to come.

Block Paving

Block Paving

Replacing an old and tired area of your home by installing a new patio or driveway can drastically improve the aesthetic look of your property, and add additional value to it.  Block paving is an ideal surfacing material, as it is more environmentally sustainable than many others. It is extremely versatile and can be installed in a variety of detailed patterns, colours and styles that can be individually tailored to your own specifications.

Due to its porous nature, it is able to effectively absorb rainwater and stop it from pooling on your driveway or patio, providing better drainage and less hazardous to walk on.  It is highly resistant to adverse weather and frost, and is also extremely durable, with outstanding load-bearing qualities.

Block paving is also easy to clean, and a general wash down with soapy water is enough to keep it regularly maintained and looking attractive for many years to come.  With so many design options available, your outdoor space can be transformed to suit your taste, while significantly enhancing the appearance of your home or property.

Tarmacadam

Tarmacadam

Tarmacadam (or tarmac) can offer a cost effective alternative style to a concrete driveway, forecourt or path. It is easy to install, and provides a hard-wearing durable surface that will resist water and allow for excellent grip.  It can also be combined with other paving options, which can help to enhance the design.

We are also able to offer a refurbishment service.  This is a more affordable option, and subject to our on-site survey we can provide you with a competitive quotation.

Unlike tarmac paints available in local DIY and web based stores, we use Picscoat, which is a heavy duty, commercial quality tarmac restoration and asphalt refurbishment product, that not only re-colours faded and worn surfaces, but also helps to bond any loose stones, greatly increasing the life-span of the area and providing you with a professional finish.
